One of the greatest regrets I have is that the BBC never pushed Hustle memorabilia the way it did Spooks tat. You can buy Spooks posters, keyrings, soundtracks…hell, even spooks stationary!
Hustle however, despite having similar - and even higher - viewing numbers, never got the same treatment.
There is very very little out there for Hustle fans to collect, and what there is can be summarised in three groups as seen here.

Group 1: Autographed Hustle Items
Generally this is in the form of DVD covers, but I have seen the occasional script pop up signed by Tony Jordan. The best thing about these items is that they are your own, and you don’t need to pay anything for autographs, apart form the postage costs. I have listed here the agent addresses of the various actors. In order to get an autograph, simply send off a letter with the item you want autographed inside , a letter to the actor, and a self addressed and stamped envelope to yourself. then, sit back and wait!
Please expect a wait of at least 2 months (actors don’t see their agents that often). If you are writing to Robert Vaughan or Jaime Murray, as they are based in the USA expect a much longer delay (and for postage from the USA either send 2 $1 bills in your envelope, or print off a USA global forever postage stamp from the USPS website). All of the main cast are fairly good about responding to fanmail (at least autographing, if not writing you a letter). However, Jaime Murray is the exception. She gets a lot of fanmail from Dexter fans as well, and so does not always respond. Her agency is a bit iffy about fanmail it would appear. Remember that there is always the danger either of the Post Office losing your letter, or of the agency binning it immediately. Therefore, i wouldn't advise sending anything valuable. Sure, having the signatures of the entire cast on one DVD cover may look cool, but would you take the risk of getting eight signatures on a cover, and then losing it when you send it to Jaime Murray to sign? Feel free to send us photos of your autographs from the cast! |

Group 2: Scripts
These pop up for sale on eBay occasionally, and go for about $20. they are generally from the later series. For practical purposes, you can always be sure they are genuine: the Hustle market is too small for counterfeiters, unlike film scripts. They are interesting enough to read, see the stage directions and so on.
Warning! There is generally on eBay a hustle season 1 episode 1 script for sale. This is a reproduction of the original script. There’s nothing wrong with that, but just make sure you din’t mistake it for an original. The seller does mention this, but i thought I’d reiterate it. Anyway, on the BBC website they provide you with the script. |

Group 3: Props
These are the holy grail of Hustle items. Very very rare. in all my time searching, I have only ever encountered a few. For other films, propstore.com has always helped me, but in all the time of searching propstore, I have only once seen a Hustle item: a crew T-shirt from season 5. However, i know someone who used to work for Kudos, and he had kept some casting sheets from season 4 episode 3 (A Designer's Paradise) which anyone else would have recycled. I have provided them here. They are interesting not only for the information on filming locations, but how long it takes to film an episode, and how many films are rescheduled…to say nothing of the incredible number of people involved!

This is the call sheet for Monday. it has all the information anyone on set might need: when scenes are filmed, where they are filmed, who to contact in an emergency and so on. It seems that the main cast even get chauffeured to the set!

This is the pocket sized version call sheet for Tuesday. It has all the information anyone on set might need: when scenes are filmed, where they are filmed, who to contact in an emergency and so on.

This is the pocket sized shooting script for a particular scene: namely when the grifters humiliate Clarissa.

This is the Call sheet for Tuesday. However, more interesting is the advance schedule: it lists when other scenes are filmed, from which we can work out every episode takes 4 days to film. Most interesting though is that you can see deleted scenes mentioned briefly: something the Hustle DVDs do not include.

These are the transport directions for the drivers. This helps us find several tricky locations!

This is the casting sheet of extras: it lists every society guest and every grifter at Clarissa’s fashion show, and their body figures. For privacy reasons telephone numbers have been blocked out in this photo.

This is the booking confirmation for the 7 catwalk models used in Clarissa’s fashion show: it appears that they really are models in real life as well!
